Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated and manual test suites for Business Intelligence and Analytics products.
- Build and support test infrastructure and automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Groovy, SoapUI, and RESTful Client.
- Test backend REST and SOAP APIs, front-end applications, ETL, BI, and SaaS solutions.
- Define testing strategies, increase automated test coverage, and drive regression testing across products.
- Work with product management and development teams from requirements definition through delivery to ensure software quality.
- Identify functional edge cases, communicate defects and quality status, and implement solutions to improve testing processes.
- Maintain test cases and test results and mentor team members on automation practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of hands-on software QA or automation engineering experience.
- Strong programming or scripting ability, preferably in Java.
- Experience writing, executing, and monitoring automated test suites with Selenium, Groovy, JUnit, TestNG, SoapUI, and RESTful Client.
- Knowledge of automated QA processes, testing fundamentals, RESTful and SOAP web services, databases, and CI/CD tool integration.
- Experience testing ETL, BI, and SaaS solutions.
- Preferred experience with ActiveMQ, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, nginx, OAuth, SAML, AWS, Docker, and continuous delivery pipelines.
- ISTQB, CSQA, or CSTE certification is preferred.
- Strong communication, teamwork, organization, prioritization, self-motivation, and flexibility skills.
