Base Salary

$131k - $170k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and operate Investigations features from ambiguous business intent through production delivery.
  • Work across the Go API, React front end, entity-relationship graph, and Python agent workflow.
  • Own reliability, performance, cost, troubleshooting, testing, observability, and on-call outcomes for the module.
  • Set technical direction through design decisions, specifications, context, guardrails, and review gates for agent-generated work.
  • Mentor engineers and improve team development practices, AI tooling, and evaluation harnesses.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience delivering production software used by other teams.
  • Depth in Go or TypeScript and ability to quickly learn the other language.
  • Experience designing, versioning, and evolving RESTful APIs used by other teams.
  • Fluency with PostgreSQL and large analytical datasets, plus strong data structures, algorithms, and system design fundamentals.
  • Production experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, and EC2.
  • Experience with code review, source control, build and deployment, GitHub, GitHub Actions, AWS CodeBuild, testing, CI/CD, observability, and on-call.
  • Ability to ship production code with agentic tools, decompose ambiguous problems, review AI output critically, and write strong specifications and design documents.
  • Preferred qualifications include building adopted internal tools or agent workflows, creating LLM evaluations or regression checks, using AI-native delivery methods, large-scale Spark or Databricks processing, Python agent work with LangGraph or Bedrock, and cybersecurity or identity threat protection experience.
