Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and document Java-based software components according to requirements.
- Contribute across all stages of the software development lifecycle.
- Identify and resolve complex technical problems and other technical issues.
- Maintain high software quality through sound engineering practices.
- Participate in peer reviews of solution designs and code.
- Create design documentation.
- Plan and support software releases.
- Work collaboratively in a scaled Agile environment and global team.
Requirements
- 10+ years of Java development experience.
- In-depth experience with the Spring Framework.
- Experience with microservice-oriented architecture and API management concepts.
- Experience with application servers such as JBoss, Tomcat, WebLogic, or WebSphere.
- Experience with REST and SOAP.
- Knowledge of TeamCity or Jenkins, Maven, Git, and the Atlassian tools ecosystem.
- Basic SQL knowledge.
- Backend Lead experience, Camunda, design patterns, and experience with Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, or OpenShift are desirable.
