Responsibilities
- Identify and solve complex technical problems and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Develop, test, and document Java-based software components according to requirements.
- Contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle.
- Maintain software quality through good engineering practices and habits.
- Identify and resolve technical issues.
- Participate in peer reviews of solution designs and code.
- Create design documentation.
- Plan and support software releases.
- Work in a scaled Agile environment as part of a global and diverse team.
Requirements
- 10+ years of Java development experience.
- In-depth experience with the Spring Framework.
- Experience with microservice-oriented architecture and API management concepts.
- Experience with application servers such as JBoss, Tomcat, WebLogic, or WebSphere.
- Experience with REST and SOAP.
- Knowledge of TeamCity or Jenkins, Maven, Git, and the Atlassian tools ecosystem.
- Basic SQL knowledge.
- Ability to use AI tools to improve productivity and workflows while applying responsible and ethical judgment to data and AI outputs.
- Backend Lead experience is desirable.
- Camunda, design patterns, TDD, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift experience are desirable.
