Responsibilities
- Drive technical strategy and execution plans for high-impact, company-wide privacy initiatives.
- Establish technical direction for new Privacy teams and areas with evolving requirements.
- Develop and apply technologies, systems, and tooling to accelerate privacy commitments.
- Partner across Meta to resolve complex technical tradeoffs in privacy decision-making.
- Centralize tooling and systems to improve organizational efficiency.
- Mentor and influence senior engineers across organizations and plan multi-year technical roadmaps.
Requirements
- Experience leading projects with industry-wide impact.
- Experience communicating and working across functions to drive solutions.
- Experience mentoring or influencing senior engineers across organizations.
- Proven ability to plan multi-year roadmaps connecting short-term projects to long-term vision.
- Strong experience building large-scale applications or equivalent experience.
- Experience with web or mobile technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred: experience with privacy frameworks, data strategy, AI/ML, responsible AI practices, shipping products to millions of customers, AI workflow optimization, prompt/context engineering, and agent orchestration.
