Responsibilities
- Build a foundational platform for reconciling transactions across systems.
- Integrate data pipelines from various products and systems.
- Create intuitive user experiences to streamline workflows.
- Develop a deep understanding of the capital systems powering Affirm.
- Collaborate with engineers to improve designs and code quality.
- Work with product managers to design best-in-class systems.
- Break down larger projects into tasks and ensure timely delivery.
- Support operations and availability by monitoring metrics.
Requirements
- 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
- Fluency in full stack web development and back end development.
- Experience in designing and maintaining products at scale.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with agentic coding.
- Knowledge of Python, JavaScript/React, Airflow, Spark, and SQL is a plus.
- Ability to write clear, well-tested, and extensible code.
- Comfortable debugging and providing feedback on code.
- Proactive, organized, curious, and a self-starter.
