Base Salary
$142k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build a foundational platform to reconcile transactions across systems, partners, and cash movements.
- Build and integrate data pipelines from varied products and systems.
- Develop intuitive user experiences that streamline business workflows.
- Design and deliver scalable software in collaboration with engineers, product managers, designers, analytics partners, and business stakeholders.
- Break larger projects into tasks, deliver them in phases, and support timely execution.
- Improve designs, code quality, testing, and technical decision-making.
- Create and monitor operational metrics, escalate issues, and participate in keep-the-lights-on and on-call efforts.
Requirements
- At least 1.5 years of software engineering experience.
- Fluency in full stack web development, backend development, event processing, or batch processing.
- Experience designing, building, launching, and maintaining products at scale.
- Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, React, Airflow, Spark, Horizon Portal, and SQL is a plus.
- Ability to translate business problems into solutions spanning multiple software components and write clear, tested, extensible code.
- Comfort navigating large codebases, debugging code, and participating in code reviews.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong communication, collaboration, ownership, organization, curiosity, and self-direction.
