Base Salary
$146k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build a foundational platform to reconcile transactions across systems, partners, and cash movements.
- Build and integrate data pipelines from multiple products and systems.
- Develop user experiences that streamline workflows for business counterparts.
- Design, implement, launch, maintain, test, and extend scalable software systems.
- Collaborate with engineers on system design, code quality, testing, and code reviews.
- Partner with product managers and business stakeholders to design systems and processes.
- Break larger projects into tasks, deliver work in phases, and coordinate timely execution.
- Participate in product ideation, communicate technical constraints, and evaluate risks and trade-offs.
- Create and monitor metrics, escalate issues, and support operational availability and on-call efforts.
Requirements
- At least 1.5 years of software engineering experience.
- Fluency in full-stack web development, backend development, event processing, or batch processing.
- Experience designing, building, launching, and maintaining products at scale.
- Proficiency with agentic coding.
- Knowledge of Python, JavaScript/React, Airflow, Spark, Horizon Portal, and SQL is preferred.
- Ability to work across multiple software components and write clear, well-tested, extensible code.
- Ability to navigate large codebases, debug code, and provide constructive code reviews.
- Strong verbal, written, communication, collaboration, ownership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
