Responsibilities

Design and build scalable fullstack systems for consumer and enterprise health.
Own end-to-end feature development from design to deployment and monitoring.
Build and maintain data pipelines that meet strict privacy and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with researchers and safety teams to integrate reliability into systems.
Debug, optimize, and harden systems for high availability and performance.
Take ownership of ambiguous problems and drive them to high-quality solutions.

2+ years of experience writing maintainable, production-quality code.
Strong engineering skills with a focus on building durable systems.
Ability to operate with high agency and minimal supervision.
Experience working in cross-functional teams with diverse roles.
Comfort with essential but unglamorous tasks related to compliance and reliability.
Thoughtful about the societal impact of AI and aligned with OpenAI's mission.
