$293k - $325k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable full-stack systems for consumer and enterprise health.
- Own end-to-end feature development from early design and implementation through deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
- Build and maintain data pipelines and services that meet privacy, security, and compliance requirements such as HIPAA.
- Collaborate with researchers and safety teams to integrate reliability, evaluation, and guardrails into production systems.
- Debug, optimize, and harden systems for high availability, performance, and global scale.
- Drive ambiguous problems to practical, high-quality solutions.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience writing maintainable, production-quality code.
- Strong engineering skills and an ability to build durable, well-designed systems.
- Ability to own problems end to end with minimal supervision in fast-moving, cross-functional teams.
- Motivation to improve health outcomes and expand access to medical expertise.
- Bonus qualifications include product engineering instincts, entrepreneurial or founder experience, health-related product experience, high-quality public code or open-source contributions, compliant or regulated product experience, and experience with distributed systems, backend architecture, or large-scale data pipelines.
