Base Salary
$129k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deliver technology solutions that improve engineering and operational processes and apply those improvements across partner teams.
- Own team systems, identify and mitigate risks, reduce complexity, and improve resilience, performance, consistency, and integration.
- Lead architecture, design, operations, process, and post-incident reviews for complex systems.
- Design, implement, and deliver technical solutions for complex problems involving large-scale distributed systems.
- Hire, coach, mentor, train, and develop engineers while leading a growing technical charter.
- Influence technical and business strategy, build consensus across teams, and work backward from customer needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or CSSLP certification.
- At least 2 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 1 year of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 7 years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems, and hands-on systems engineering.
- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals, including networking, storage, and operating systems.
- Programming experience in at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.
- Current, active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility or above.
- Preferred experience includes programming with Rust and working in an Agile environment using Scrum.
