Base Salary
$133k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for a team developing and maintaining data products for FreeWheel and Beeswax.
- Develop data products using Python and perform exploratory data analysis using SQL on Snowflake and Databricks.
- Develop data APIs using Golang and create, maintain, and extract data using ClickHouse.
- Develop machine learning models using Apache Spark.
- Build CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and operationalize data products on AWS.
- Support application development, software updates, application integration, testing, and software release rollouts.
- Document development activity, software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, recommendations, and reports.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements and determine integration needs.
- Work with Quality Assurance to assess whether applications meet specifications and technical requirements.
- Monitor competitive applications and products and research relevant literature, patents, and current practices.
- Guide and mentor junior-level engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Five years of experience developing data products using Python and performing exploratory data analysis using SQL.
- Experience developing data APIs using Golang.
- Three years of experience performing version control using GitHub, building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, operationalizing data products on AWS, and creating, maintaining, and extracting data using ClickHouse.
- One year of experience using Snowflake and Databricks.
