Base Salary

$131k - $237k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines and data workflows.
  • Integrate data from multiple internal and external systems.
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, and consistency across pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance and data integrity issues.
  • Create AWS-based resources, write and debug custom application code, administer database services, and perform data cleaning, formatting, and management.
  • Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to support data needs.
  • Document pipeline architecture, processes, and operational procedures.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance is required.
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 12 years of relatable work experience, or a Master's degree and at least 10 years of relatable work experience, or 16+ years of relatable work experience in lieu of a degree.
  • At least approximately 5 years of hands-on ETL/ELT development, data integration, and pipeline orchestration experience.
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and working with large, complex datasets across multiple source systems.
  • Strong knowledge of data transformation, cleansing, validation, migration, data modeling, schema design, and performance optimization.
  • Strong expertise in ETL tools, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, Python, and SQL for backend and data pipeline development.
  • Experience developing and maintaining API integrations, batch jobs, and automated workflows.
  • Experience with cloud-based or on-premises data environments and relational databases.
  • Preferred experience with Elasticsearch, Apache NiFi, streaming and event-driven architectures, NoSQL databases, message queues, distributed systems, data warehousing, and analytics platforms.
