Base Salary

$78k - $176k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop complete end-to-end real-time streaming solutions from vision through production.
  • Design and implement enterprise data engineering, ETL/ELT, and geospatial data pipelines using AWS services.
  • Develop and deploy production geospatial solutions across their full lifecycle through operations and maintenance.
  • Design and version APIs for distributed streaming systems, including Apache Kafka.
  • Use infrastructure-as-code and cloud-native architecture patterns to build scalable systems.
  • Evaluate architecture, operating environments, future enhancements, scalability, reliability, dashboards, and monitoring needs.
  • Identify system improvements and help clients address complex technical challenges.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of software experience using a cloud-first development approach.
  • At least 4 years of enterprise data engineering development experience, including geospatial data.
  • At least 3 years of experience with AWS services and cloud-native architecture patterns.
  • At least 3 years of infrastructure-as-code experience using AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
  • Experience developing ETL or ELT pipelines with AWS services and designing APIs for distributed streaming systems.
  • Experience developing and deploying production geospatial solutions from concept through operations and maintenance.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph exam.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Preferred qualifications include ATO processes, security documentation, database administration and optimization, technical initiative leadership, scalable and reliable system design, streaming-service dashboards and monitoring, security and compliance knowledge, AWS certifications, and IAT Level II or higher certifications such as Security+ or CISSP.
