Responsibilities
- Build and operate components of multi-cloud foundations across GCP and AWS.
- Own components and features end-to-end from design to implementation.
- Contribute to developer tooling for safe and quick shipping of code.
- Participate in incident management and postmortems.
- Collaborate across teams to improve developer productivity.
- Contribute to Backstage and Portal for simplified cloud access.
- Grow through code reviews and collaboration with senior engineers.
Requirements
- 2+ years of backend or infrastructure engineering experience.
- Experience building or operating cloud infrastructure (GCP and/or AWS).
- Familiarity with Terraform and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (TypeScript, Java, Go, or Python).
- Experience with CI/CD, deployment systems, and observability tooling.
- Ability to think about systems in terms of reliability and performance.
- Curiosity about AI/LLM systems and their application to infrastructure.
- Strong ownership of work and problem-solving skills.
- Clear communication and effective collaboration across teams.
- Openness to feedback and motivation to grow.
