Base Salary
$150k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the technical and scientific delivery of consumer vertical experiences.
- Translate model output and AI insights into APIs and data services.
- Collaborate with product and design partners to scope experiences.
- Build and evolve the data backend for consumer applications.
- Orchestrate model-evaluation work with research scientists.
- Integrate LLM-driven content generation into consumer experiences.
- Shepherd experiences from lab experiments to flagship products.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on consumer-scale projects.
- Strong proficiency in Python within a Linux/Unix environment.
- Working knowledge of atmospheric science or related earth-science domains.
- Experience with AI coding assistants and modern DevOps practices.
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and prompt engineering.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
