Base Salary
$194k - $253k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and enhance serving solutions for Gemini models, tailoring configurations and testing for optimal performance.
- Develop infrastructure for large-scale streaming and specialized audio logic within the orchestration framework.
- Triage production system issues, debug code, and implement monitoring to ensure Gemini model quality.
- Participate in design and code reviews and establish software development best practices.
- Drive the team’s short-term technical vision and roadmap for future infrastructure needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field plus five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience, or a master’s degree in one of these fields plus three years of relevant experience.
- At least three years of experience productionizing large language and multimodal models or developing ML infrastructure for model deployment, evaluation, and optimization.
- At least three years of C++ software development experience.
- At least three years of software testing experience across validity, verification, performance, and reliability phases.
- At least three years of experience with root cause analysis for debugging software and ML systems.
- At least three years of experience in software design and systems architecture for performance and reliability.
Benefits
- US base salary range of $193,500–$253,000 annually, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits determined by role, level, and location.
- The position reports to a Google office and may allow a hybrid schedule under Google policy.
