Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and prioritize vulnerabilities across enterprise systems while developing and tuning detection logic and analytics.
- Design, develop, and implement threat-detection and enrichment systems for security telemetry, logs, and threat-intelligence data.
- Lead security engineering projects involving detection, vulnerability analytics, and defensive technologies.
- Configure data pipelines and telemetry ingestion processes and implement predictive risk forecasting components.
- Integrate detection and vulnerability-management solutions with SIEM, ticketing, operational systems, and the STRIDE platform.
- Validate data integrity, detection performance, system reliability, model accuracy, and operational usefulness.
- Monitor and optimize detection and vulnerability-analytics performance for scale, efficiency, and low false-positive rates in cloud environments.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management of detections, analytics, and models.
- Assess model and detection risks, biases, and coverage gaps against responsible-use guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in security engineering, vulnerability management, or detection engineering across design, evaluation, and deployment.
- U.S. citizenship and willingness to undergo a U.S. Government background investigation.
- Hands-on experience with security analytics, detection frameworks, scripting and automation using Python, and major cloud platforms.
- Experience with large-scale data stores, search or vector databases, and retrieval-based analysis architectures.
- Experience with advanced query and detection engineering, model and detection tuning, analytics, and automation tooling.
- Experience with detection and model evaluation, monitoring, validation, benchmarking, and deployment.
- Familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, Hugging Face, LangChain, and API-driven analytics tooling is preferred.
