Base Salary

$94k - $159k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Engage with product management and user communities to translate user requirements and industry needs into development objectives.
  • Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to build and test ArcGIS data management functionality for enterprise geodatabases and related services.
  • Drive planning, design, quality assurance, certification, and release of ArcGIS data management capabilities.
  • Define documentation objectives and communicate complex technology to users.
  • Communicate plans and status to internal stakeholders and senior management.
  • Identify opportunities to integrate new technologies and patterns into existing software.
  • Drive release planning, iteration planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Assess product quality and release readiness.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and/or implementing solutions using ArcGIS software.
  • Experience with an application development language such as C#, Java, C++, or Python.
  • Strong expertise with a commercial relational database management system.
  • Bachelor’s degree in geography, GIS, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Effective time management, organizational, communication, problem-solving, and creative-thinking skills.
  • Ability to guide staff toward excellence and work as a self-motivated team player.
  • Preferred qualifications include web technology experience, test-plan development, automated and functional testing, source control and issue management, system and web server administration, and a master’s degree in a related field.
