Base Salary
$94k - $159k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and release software capabilities with software developers.
- Author and execute test plans and manage datasets for N-path, acceptance, and regression testing.
- Translate industry standards and product requirements into software designs and Scrum user stories.
- Work with product users and UI/UX designers to define requirements, workflows, mockups, and user experiences.
- Define and validate AI-assisted observability features for diagnostics, root cause analysis, troubleshooting, recommendations, and natural-language system interactions.
- Design enterprise deployment scenarios and define safe operational boundaries and human-in-the-loop workflows.
- Collaborate on UI automation and create, review, and improve user guide documentation.
- Provide product best practices, demonstrations, technical assistance, and technical documentation review.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position with similar responsibilities.
- Professional experience as a GIS or IT practitioner maintaining a GIS or IT environment.
- Experience deploying or administering ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, or comparable web or application server systems.
- Familiarity with relational database systems, preferably PostgreSQL, including common SQL commands and concepts.
- Familiarity with Windows or Linux server administration.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Geographic Information Systems, Geography, Computer Science, or a STEM-related field.
- Preferred experience includes software testing and QA, complex enterprise-system troubleshooting, observability and performance monitoring, scripting or programming, Scrum, LLMs, prompt engineering, AI-assisted user experiences, AIOps, Git, and CI/CD concepts.
- A master's degree in a relevant Information Systems, GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or STEM-related field is preferred.
