Responsibilities

Develop MES software for lens manufacturing.
Implement system functions, controls, and algorithms.
Implement unit tests to achieve reasonable test coverage.
Deploy new or changed software versions into edge environments.
Diagnose issues across running services using SQL, MongoDB, Kafka, and Docker.
Improve monitoring and logging tools and investigate root causes using Grafana, Loki, and Mimir.
Coordinate with on-premises support regarding service changes and provide training on new features.
Create and maintain training materials and documentation for owned services.
Report and resolve bugs and issues through code changes.

Completed degree in computer science or business informatics, or equivalent work experience.
At least 5 years of software development experience, with 7 years preferred.
Experience with infrastructure or server administration, including Windows, Linux, virtualization, networking, and security.
Advanced programming experience in Java.
Very good written and spoken English.
Strong teamwork skills and a customer- and service-oriented approach.
Initial experience working in international teams.
Frontend development experience with React, Vue, or Angular is preferred.
Basic Git knowledge is preferred.
Enterprise software development experience is preferred.
Experience with unit testing and mocking is preferred.
Azure DevOps usage for CI/CD is preferred.
Experience with Quarkus or the Java Spring Framework is preferred.
Experience developing distributed systems or using microservice architectures is preferred.
