Responsibilities
- Develop, test, debug, and monitor software applications and related programs.
- Apply software design principles, data structures, design patterns, and computer science fundamentals to write clean, modular, maintainable code.
- Apply database design knowledge to address data requirements and work with data stores and API integrations.
- Lead small, well-defined projects while supporting complex projects.
- Identify inefficiencies, improve existing systems, and contribute to integrated technology solutions.
- Collaborate with engineers, stakeholders, peers, and subject matter experts to solve problems and coordinate solution development.
- Report work status clearly and provide data or task support for holistic organizational solutions.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree or 0–2 years with a master's degree.
- Experience developing software in a team environment of at least five engineers.
- Experience building and maintaining a software project or product in a production public or hybrid cloud environment.
- Strength in at least one programming language and moderate familiarity with other applicable languages.
- Familiarity with multiple data stores, API access patterns, integrations, testing tools, and monitoring tools.
- Understanding of moderately complex systems, software integration, database design, and how technical projects support business needs.
