Responsibilities
- Design and architect observability solutions using OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies.
- Translate enterprise customer requirements into scalable, performant, and maintainable Dash0 implementations.
- Develop and execute proofs of concept highlighting Dash0’s technical capabilities.
- Deliver technical demos and presentations for engineering and executive audiences.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to position Dash0 as the technical solution of choice.
- Provide architecture guidance and best practices for observability setup, telemetry data modeling, and OpenTelemetry collector design.
- Create and maintain reusable demo environments, reference architectures, and proof-of-concept templates.
- Partner with Product Management to provide technical insights influencing roadmap and feature priorities.
Requirements
- Deep technical knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, observability pipelines, and distributed tracing.
- Hands-on experience with instrumentation, telemetry data ingestion, and performance optimization.
- Strong understanding of modern DevOps, SRE, and platform engineering practices.
- Ability to create and execute technical demos, architectures, and proofs of concept that demonstrate business value.
- Ability to communicate complex observability concepts clearly to engineers and executive decision-makers.
- Experience with HubSpot is a nice-to-have.
- Technical content contributions such as blog posts, conference talks, or open-source documentation are a nice-to-have.
- Familiarity with the CNCF ecosystem and community is a nice-to-have.
- Experience in a high-growth, venture-backed startup environment is a nice-to-have.
