Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for applications and microservices.
- Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
- Manage and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure for scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
- Deploy and operate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, with exposure to ECS or EKS preferred.
- Apply security best practices using technologies such as IAM Roles and KMS.
- Monitor system performance and reliability using Prometheus, ELK, Datadog, and related tools.
- Deploy applications across development, QA/test, and production environments.
- Troubleshoot distributed systems and proactively resolve reliability and performance issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and automation.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5–8 years of experience in DevOps or a similar role, including software development and systems administration.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar containerization and orchestration tools.
- Strong Linux/Unix administration background.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, or similar tools.
- Expertise managing Azure cloud environments and automating infrastructure with Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Strong knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, ELK stack, and Datadog.
- Experience with troubleshooting, large-scale systems, cloud-native applications, and distributed systems.
- Preferred experience with microservices architecture, serverless computing, Lambda, SAM, ECS, or EKS.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
