Base Salary
$204k - $310k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of security architectures for FedRAMP IL5 and IL6 systems.
- Develop reusable security platforms, patterns, and practices across the organization.
- Define and deliver secure cloud architectures that meet federal standards.
- Implement Zero Trust architecture in production environments.
- Create compliance-aware designs that minimize authorization scope.
- Automate compliance evidence pipelines to improve audit readiness.
- Integrate security-by-design principles into product engineering and cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security architecture, or security engineering.
- Proven hands-on delivery of FedRAMP IL5 and/or IL6 systems.
- Strong knowledge of NIST 800-53 Rev. 5 and DoD Cloud Computing SRG.
- Experience with cloud security architecture in AWS GovCloud.
- Familiarity with securing cloud-native platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to explain control intent and risk tradeoffs effectively.
