Base Salary
$168k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, architecture, and delivery of AI-native systems orchestrating customer journeys across Amazon’s global Customer Service network.
- Architect real-time systems that guide customers toward optimal resolution paths with minimal effort and high likelihood of success.
- Build and develop a high-performing engineering team through hiring assistance and mentorship.
- Partner with Applied Science teams to develop and integrate intelligent solutions that improve channel demand patterns, productivity, and network efficiency.
- Drive technical roadmaps from proof of concept through production while balancing delivery speed and architectural quality.
- Collaborate with Network Solutions and partner teams to integrate platform capabilities into the broader Customer Service ecosystem.
- Establish operational excellence practices including on-call, incident response, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- 5+ years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience mentoring, serving as a technical lead, or leading an engineering team.
- Preferred: 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
