Base Salary
$170k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable, reliable backend services for Yoodli’s Roleplays product.
- Own backend services end-to-end and deliver production software in a fast-moving environment.
- Design secure, maintainable, and appropriately scaled systems focused on user experience and business outcomes.
- Work across backend and frontend stacks to build enterprise-grade software for company-wide rollouts.
- Debug complex distributed systems and contribute to technical strategy and foundational systems.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams and provide and receive constructive feedback.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional development experience shipping production code.
- Experience with LLMs, generative AI, and AI-powered applications.
- Strong backend engineering experience with end-to-end ownership of services.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure such as GCP, AWS, or Azure and Infrastructure as Code.
- Proficiency in TypeScript or Python.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to connect technical work to business and user outcomes.
- Ability to work onsite in Seattle, Washington three days per week.
- Preferred experience with speech and audio processing technologies, real-time communication systems, NoSQL databases, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform.
