Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineers across a product delivery team.
- Drive architectural and engineering decisions aligned with enterprise standards and long-term strategy.
- Lead delivery of complex, business-critical software solutions in large-scale environments.
- Assess technical feasibility, delivery risks, trade-offs, assumptions, and business impacts during planning and execution.
- Establish engineering standards, development practices, quality expectations, and common patterns across teams.
- Lead production issue resolution, root cause analysis, and prevention activities.
- Ensure solutions meet security, performance, accessibility, resilience, supportability, and observability standards.
- Coach and mentor engineers at all levels and support the development of future technical leaders.
- Champion continuous improvement in engineering practices, tooling, automation, and delivery processes.
- Partner with product, delivery, architecture, systems analysis, quality engineering, and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technology-related discipline.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including significant experience building, delivering, and supporting enterprise applications.
- Proven experience leading complex software delivery in large-scale environments and acting as a technical lead for business-critical applications.
- Demonstrated ability to influence technical decisions and align engineers, product, architecture, and business stakeholders.
- Deep hands-on expertise in Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, Signals, and enterprise-level frontend architecture.
- Experience leading delivery in large Nx monorepo environments.
- Strong experience with REST-based service integration, API-driven design, distributed systems, CI/CD, AWS, observability, testing, and secure software development.
- Experience establishing unit, integration, visual, and end-to-end testing practices.
- Experience balancing feature delivery, technical debt reduction, platform improvements, and operational priorities.
- Experience with GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted engineering tools is desirable.
