Responsibilities
- Design and develop company-wide web applications, shared libraries, frameworks, and single-page applications.
- Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of new software components.
- Independently manage project activities related to software builds and deployments.
- Create and maintain software tests, including functionality, unit, end-to-end, and accessibility testing.
- Develop software design documentation and identify opportunities to improve and optimize applications.
- Collaborate with business analysts and product managers to understand requirements.
- Support and mentor developers on JavaScript and web concepts while following quality and development standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science is required; a graduate degree is preferred.
- At least 5 years of advanced JavaScript and functional programming experience, 3 years of advanced CSS experience, and 2 years of HTML5 experience.
- Experience with iterative or test-driven development, code refactoring, continuous integration, JavaScript frameworks, client-side testing tools, and debugging workflows.
- Experience with server-side technologies such as Node.js and strong knowledge of browser quirks and cross-browser optimization.
- Preferred skills include React, Redux, TypeScript, modern JavaScript features, CSS-in-JS, Tailwind, LESS, SASS, Webpack, Vite.js, Babel.js, Node.js npm, Git, Electron, RAG, MCP, LLM technologies, and AI-assisted development tools such as CoPilot and Cursor.
