Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end integration engineering from high-level architecture through coding and implementation.
- Collaborate with Sales, Solution Architecture, and Implementation teams to drive customer engagement and successful customer outcomes.
- Explain Stripe products, features, and API architecture to customers and developer communities.
- Serve as the primary ongoing technical contact for large users’ and partners’ technical teams.
- Debug Stripe and user code and provide technical guidance, recommendations, and best practices.
- Share technical thought leadership through whitepapers, conferences, and industry events.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to Stripe product and engineering teams.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in software engineering or integration engineering.
- Experience with code-level debugging of Stripe code and user code.
- Ability to explain technical concepts, Stripe product features, and API architecture.
- Strong generalist technical experience and comfort working directly with customers.
- User-first approach and empathy for users.
- Preferred qualifications include open-ended problem-solving ability, willingness to learn and teach, collaborative and consultative communication, and intellectual curiosity.
