Responsibilities

  • Deploy, automate, maintain, and troubleshoot DevOps-managed shared services.
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure supporting the software development lifecycle.
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for software releases and updates.
  • Monitor and improve the availability, performance, scalability, and security of production systems.
  • Automate system configuration, deployments, and monitoring to reduce manual intervention.
  • Research and implement new DevOps technologies, best practices, and architecture improvements.
  • Work with global and dedicated DevOps teams and support geographically dispersed collaboration.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience provisioning, operating, and managing AWS environments.
  • Demonstrable DevOps experience and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems and implement effective solutions.
  • Experience with Python, Bash, Java, PowerShell, Ruby, or similar programming and scripting languages.
  • Experience working in Linux and cloud environments, including AWS APIs and AWS services.
  • Proficiency with infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Experience with Kubernetes or Docker, logging, monitoring, alerting, and CI/CD tools.
  • A B.E., B.Tech, BCA, or MCA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
  • Strong computer science fundamentals, debugging skills, and familiarity with Git and code review.
  • Preferred qualifications include multi-tier architecture experience, AWS disaster recovery across regions, HashiCorp Vault, professional certifications, DevOps leadership, technical blogging, side projects, and open-source participation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, adaptability, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn missing qualifications.
