Automation Infrastructure Engineer
Guidewire SoftwareResponsibilities
- Collaborate with infrastructure engineers on BizTech Operations support and projects.
- Maintain security across Linux and Windows systems through vulnerability remediation and automated patching.
- Drive end-to-end automation using AI tools, Ansible, Terraform, and AWS-native automation services.
- Provision and automate tool deployments on AWS.
- Integrate and maintain DataDog, PagerDuty, Slack, and Glean.
- Participate in a two-week sprint model and an on-call rotation supporting service availability and incident response.
- Perform additional infrastructure-related tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong foundational knowledge of AWS, cloud networking, and Linux/Windows system administration.
- Hands-on experience with Python, Go, or PowerShell for automation and scripting.
- Familiarity with APIs, web services, REST, SOAP, JSON, and OAuth.
- Experience with CI/CD platforms and pipeline automation, including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Ability to apply AI/ML concepts, learn new technologies quickly, and work effectively independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication, teamwork, ownership, and systematic problem-solving skills.
