Responsibilities
- Build tools and automation to solve engineering team challenges.
- Design and implement systems that enhance engineering velocity and software quality.
- Utilize AI capabilities to redefine high-productivity engineering.
- Architect multi-step systems with defined inputs and outputs.
- Integrate AI features into CI/CD pipelines to improve reliability.
- Advise product engineering teams on best practices for scalable systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to automate workflows and measure impact.
- Instrument AI features with logging and monitoring throughout their lifecycle.
- Document best practices for consistent adoption across the organization.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 3+ years of experience building infrastructure or internal tooling for developer teams.
- Fluency in Python or Go.
- Experience with the tools and workflows of software engineering teams.
- Hands-on experience with agentic or LLM-powered systems in production.
- Familiarity with LLM APIs and understanding of context management tradeoffs.
- Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD platforms.
- Daily use of AI-assisted development tools.
- Ability to define metrics for AI-assisted tooling and run experiments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
