Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot scalable software solutions and production services.
- Build full-stack features spanning backend services and user interfaces.
- Integrate and operationalize LLM and generative AI capabilities, including summarization, copilots, retrieval, and workflow orchestration.
- Build and evolve IoT integrations for telemetry ingestion, event processing, device health, and smart-building systems.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications.
- Analyze large datasets, identify patterns in data and system behavior, and create visualizations or reporting as needed.
- Improve system reliability, performance, security, and operational stability.
- Participate in engineering communities of practice and technology-focused events.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Strong system design, application development, and operational stability skills.
- Advanced Python proficiency and hands-on experience with LLMs and generative AI productization.
- Experience using statistical and machine learning techniques with datasets and AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, and Hugging Face.
- Experience with distributed systems, AWS, GCP, or Azure, as well as microservices, RESTful APIs, and relational or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and CI/CD tooling.
- Deep understanding of IoT architectures, protocols, device management patterns, and security best practices.
- Experience integrating IoT solutions with smart-building systems or property-management platforms.
- Track record delivering scalable, reliable, secure IoT-enabled products using cloud integration and edge-computing patterns.
- Preferred familiarity with React, Angular, TypeScript, event-driven architectures, streaming, observability, Spark, distributed computing, and Databricks.
