Responsibilities
- Author structured, developer-facing technical training content and documentation for two internal enterprise platforms.
- Design, rebuild, test, and deploy a learning and assessment portal.
- Develop Angular front ends and Node.js microservices, including reusable components, APIs, validation, error handling, logging, and automated testing.
- Design data models and transactional workflows, dashboards, file uploads, and user-facing administration features.
- Deploy and support Node.js services on Azure App Service and integrate Azure AD authentication, SSO, and role-based access control.
- Perform migration, requirements analysis, testing, secure coding, dependency management, application logging, and remediation of review findings.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and collaborate independently within a two-person delivery team across content and engineering workstreams.
Requirements
- Strong technical writing skills and the ability to translate application architecture and customization workflows into structured training content.
- Hands-on experience building enterprise web applications with Angular and Node.js, including component-based front-end development and RESTful microservices.
- Working knowledge of Azure SQL Managed Instance or SQL Server, REST APIs, data modeling, source control, and CI/CD practices.
- Experience deploying and supporting Node.js services on Azure App Service, integrating Azure AD authentication, and implementing role-based access control.
- Strong Angular skills with TypeScript, reactive forms, routing, HTTP services, state handling, reusable components, and front-end testing.
- Strong Node.js skills covering asynchronous programming, API design, service decomposition, validation, error handling, logging, and automated testing.
- Experience designing transactional workflows, dashboards, file uploads, and user-facing administration features.
- Strong requirements analysis, testing, documentation, and stakeholder-engagement skills.
- Practical understanding of secure coding, dependency management, application logging, and remediation of review findings.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate closely within a two-person delivery team.
- Preferred: experience authoring technical training materials, developer guides, or onboarding documentation.
- Preferred: familiarity with enterprise line-of-business or field-operations applications.
- Preferred: experience modernizing legacy .NET Framework applications into Angular front ends and Node.js service-based architectures.
- Preferred: experience with LMS, course-authoring, quiz, assignment, or learning-progress solutions.
- Preferred: exposure to enterprise SSO onboarding, Azure AD application registration, data-classification reviews, Azure Blob Storage, monitoring, and application-data migration.
