Responsibilities
- Support GitOps-based application delivery with Argo CD, Helm charts, and Kubernetes manifests across development, staging, and production clusters.
- Maintain GitLab CI pipelines, container image builds, upstream open-source image mirrors, version upgrades, and CVE patching.
- Operate GKE and on-premise Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters, including workloads, namespaces, storage, node pools, networking, and configuration resources.
- Support ingress, API gateway, TLS certificate, secrets management, autoscaling, monitoring, and centralized logging systems.
- Troubleshoot pod, networking, DNS, storage, cluster, and application health issues.
- Support PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, MinIO, and PocketBase deployments and alerting.
- Contribute to platform security, RBAC, network policies, malware scanning, container image vulnerability management, backups, disaster recovery, and incident response.
- Build Bash and Python automation, improve CI/CD and infrastructure operations, and reduce repetitive manual work.
- Document cluster configurations, deployment runbooks, and operational procedures for audit and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, SRE, or system administration.
- Fresh graduates with strong Kubernetes-focused internships, home labs, or academic projects are encouraged to apply.
- Solid Linux system administration fundamentals and familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
- Automation experience or ability to automate tasks using Bash, Python, Go, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, or Kubernetes-native tooling.
- Hands-on Docker experience, including image building, Dockerfiles, and container lifecycle management.
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes concepts and exposure to Helm or Kubernetes YAML manifests.
- Familiarity with a cloud platform, preferably GCP/GKE, and exposure to CI/CD tools, preferably GitLab CI.
- Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, MinIO, or PocketBase.
- Intermediate scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go, plus networking fundamentals covering HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, TLS/SSL certificates, load balancing, and Kubernetes networking.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging concepts such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
- Preferred experience includes Argo CD or Flux, Prometheus Operator, kube-prometheus-stack, Loki, Grafana Alloy, OpenTelemetry collectors, HashiCorp Vault, Vault Secrets Operator, KEDA, cert-manager, Kong, ingress-nginx, OAuth2, OIDC, mTLS, Kubernetes Gateway API, Envoy, Envoy Gateway, Kubernetes operators, CRDs, GKE networking features, Terraform, Ansible, OpenShift, and deploying Node.js or Python applications on Kubernetes.
- Interest in AI/LLM platforms, conversational AI, or MLOps, along with strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and learning skills.
