Base Salary
$152k - $288k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, improve, and maintain metrics and test sets for large-scale autonomous driving KPIs and performance measurements.
- Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, test engineering, and release teams to scale test solutions and address coverage and framework gaps.
- Build tools that automate and scale test sets using metrics for data quantity, quality, and diversity.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system-level issues affecting KPI and simulation framework performance and reliability.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers while promoting technical excellence and collaborative problem solving.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, or a master's or PhD in an engineering or science field.
- 5+ years of software engineering and data analysis experience, preferably in simulation, autonomous systems, robotics, artificial intelligence, or related areas.
- Proficiency in Python and a deep understanding of software engineering practices.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, technical troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively amid ambiguity and competing priorities.
- Curiosity and willingness to investigate complex problems in depth.

- Base salary varies by location, experience, and comparable employee pay; the stated ranges are $152,000-$241,500 for Level 3 and $184,000-$287,500 for Level 4.
