Responsibilities
- Architect and hands-on develop bespoke agentic AI solutions using Agentforce and complex enterprise integrations.
- Build and deploy LLM-powered agents and multi-agent systems using agent orchestration frameworks such as LangChain and LlamaIndex.
- Define and enforce engineering practices for code quality, scalability, security, testing, and maintainability.
- Configure, customize, and extend the Salesforce platform to support agentic solutions.
- Design data models, processing pipelines, integrations, and analytics solutions for advanced AI applications.
- Resolve complex technical blockers involving agent orchestration, data integration, and solution delivery.
- Lead custom Agentforce agent development and provide field-informed input into future product enhancements.
- Maintain current knowledge of AI advancements and apply it to product and process innovation.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience delivering high-quality, scalable production solutions in a hands-on end-to-end role.
- Strong background in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
- Expert proficiency in one or more of Java, Apex, JavaScript, or Python, with strong object-oriented programming and database knowledge.
- Experience building applications with React, Angular, or LWC.
- Hands-on experience integrating LLMs, building custom agentic systems, and using LangChain or LlamaIndex.
- Deep understanding of machine learning, natural language processing, prompt engineering, advanced RAG strategies, and LLM or agent evaluation frameworks.
- Expertise in data modeling, processing, integration, and analytics, with experience using Salesforce Data Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.
- Experience with automated unit and functional testing, test strategy, and test automation framework design.
- Strong collaboration, interpersonal, innovation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to travel 30% of the time to customer sites as needed.
- Preferred qualifications include significant Salesforce platform experience, open-source AI framework contributions, advanced Salesforce certifications, professional Apex, JavaScript, or Python experience, voice-system experience, and a focus on high-quality user experiences.
