Base Salary
$114k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Guide and assist with reliability designs, peer consensus, and adoption of site reliability engineering practices.
- Design, develop, test, and implement deployment and reliability approaches with automated continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities for incident triage, troubleshooting, post-incident analysis, and identification of recurring reliability risks, validating recommendations before use.
- Implement infrastructure, configuration, and network as code for assigned applications and platforms.
- Resolve complex problems and proactively address issues using service level indicators and objectives before they affect customers.
- Improve application and platform availability, reliability, scalability, and operational outcomes iteratively.
- Identify roadblocks and explore appropriate technologies to solve business problems.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in site reliability engineering concepts.
- At least 3 years of applied experience.
- Proficiency in site reliability culture, principles, and implementation within an application or platform.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java/Spring Boot, or .NET.
- Working knowledge of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities for SRE workflows, including validation practices and data-sensitivity awareness.
- Ability to validate AI-assisted operational recommendations, escalate uncertainty, and follow data-sensitivity requirements.
- Proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a discipline such as Cloud, AI, or Android.
- Preferred experience with white-box and black-box monitoring, service-level-objective alerting, and telemetry collection.
- Preferred experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tooling.
- Preferred familiarity with containers, container orchestration, and troubleshooting networking technologies and issues.
