Base Salary
$131k - $237k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, engineers, systems engineering, and program teams in an Agile/SAFe environment.
- Translate requirements into working software and contribute to system design and technical decisions.
- Develop clean, maintainable, testable code using CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.
- Integrate services with databases, messaging systems, and external APIs.
- Troubleshoot systems, perform performance tuning, and support continuous improvement.
- Implement unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end automated testing strategies.
- Use AI-assisted development tools for coding, refactoring, debugging, and test creation.
- Support reliable delivery with QA, DevOps, and platform teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience building and supporting microservices-based systems.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, or C++ on a Linux-based system.
- Experience or exposure to AI/ML-enabled systems, automation, or intelligent platforms.
- Experience working in Agile environments and understanding of APIs and distributed systems.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable Public Trust investigation.
- U.S. citizenship and successful completion of government-required background investigations.
- Preferred experience includes Git, CI/CD pipelines, SAFe, relational or NoSQL databases, Kafka or other event-streaming technologies, AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, DevSecOps, and automated testing frameworks.
