Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js.
- Build and optimize cloud-native applications on AWS.
- Develop event-driven and messaging-based architectures using SQS and SNS.
- Design and manage serverless solutions with AWS Lambda.
- Use DynamoDB to build high-performance, scalable data solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, low-latency backend services.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, availability, and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience working as a Frontend Engineer.
- Strong experience with Node.js and backend application development.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, including EC2, Lambda, SQS, SNS, and DynamoDB.
- Experience designing and developing scalable distributed systems.
- Knowledge of asynchronous programming and event-driven architectures.
- Experience building RESTful APIs and backend integrations.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience processing millions of messages per day with high reliability and designing low-latency distributed systems.
- Preferred knowledge of graceful degradation, high-availability, fault-tolerant, cloud-native architectures, and performance and scalability optimization.
- Preferred proficiency with one or more AI tools for drafting, analysis, research, or process automation.
- Experience developing projects using frameworks.
