Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated cloud pipelines for data cleaning, parsing, slicing, frame extraction, annotation delivery, verification, and visualization.
- Optimize pipeline throughput and latency to process more than 100,000 scenario datasets daily.
- Develop cloud-platform modules for data upload, source-data management, visualization, dataset management, and workflow orchestration.
- Lead architecture design for internal automotive cloud systems covering computing-resource management, data storage and processing, and high-performance computing.
- Ensure platform high availability, scalability, and security.
- Research cloud-computing and big-data technologies, evaluate technology options, and implement platform upgrades.
- Diagnose technical faults and resolve complex performance, data-security, and toolchain issues.
- Coordinate requirements and collaboration across teams in a global, fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in cloud computing and big-data platform architecture design.
- At least 3 years of experience working on autonomous-driving data systems.
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in computer science, mechatronics, automotive, or an equivalent field.
- Proficiency in Python and C++.
- Experience with Linux or Ubuntu, Shell scripting, Git version control, and CI/CD workflows.
- Strong knowledge of distributed-system design, microservices, containerization, cloud-platform services, and big-data processing.
- Experience processing LiDAR point-cloud data and camera data, including distortion correction and image fusion.
- Knowledge of H264, H265, YUV, MJPEG, autonomous-driving middleware, and customized sensor or annotation data formats.
- Strong problem-solving, ownership, collaboration, communication, and independent-working skills.
- Experience leading large-scale cloud-platform architecture, solving complex technical problems, building data factories or mass-production projects, or working on automotive OEM projects is preferred.
- Proficiency in English is preferred.
