Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex software solutions.
- Build and maintain public APIs, telemetry, data analytics, and reliable software systems for 24/7 warehouse automation.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable code and troubleshoot software defects and performance issues.
- Conduct code reviews, document technical work, and mentor junior engineers.
- Collaborate with cloud infrastructure engineers and other squads on architecture and deployment strategies.
- Contribute to setting SLOs and SLIs for core features and collaborate with cross-functional teams on project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Proficiency with Git and strong experience developing and maintaining public APIs.
- Understanding of access management, security protocols, OAuth, and OpenAPI specifications.
- Hands-on experience with messaging frameworks such as RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, Azure Service Bus, and Event Hubs.
- Experience with data lake platforms, particularly Azure Databricks.
- Advanced proficiency in TypeScript and .NET languages including C# and F#; functional programming experience is highly desirable.
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, concurrency control, and multi-tenant architecture.
- Hardware integration experience is a plus.
