Base Salary
$195k - $229k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and engineers to deliver significant business impact.
- Set technical direction for critical technical areas so the product and infrastructure can scale.
- Design, develop, and own new product functionality and infrastructure using modern frameworks and tooling.
- Collaborate with engineers to improve security and trust outcomes for Vanta customers.
- Contribute to Vanta’s engineering culture as the company grows.
- Support the Integrations Platform mission by developing shared primitives for authentication, lifecycle, observability, and publishing.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of industry experience with backend development.
- Experience designing, building, and scaling backend systems, APIs, and platform primitives.
- Experience serving in technical leadership roles for teams or complex projects.
- Previous startup experience or experience in an environment with a bias for action.
- Previous experience working on greenfield projects.
- Interest in learning about security or prior experience in the security space.
- Curiosity and sound judgment in using AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact.
