Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale workflow solutions on Appian.
- Shape the strategic direction of the organisation’s workflow capability.
- Drive architecture and delivery of complex workflow applications.
- Design scalable and secure solutions aligned with business, technology, and enterprise objectives.
- Design integrations with legacy and cloud-based platforms.
- Lead solution design, architecture, and data modelling activities.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to development and engineering teams.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, engineers, and delivery teams through solution workshops and delivery activities.
- Support delivery using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a Software Engineer delivering enterprise technology solutions.
- 3–5+ years of hands-on Appian experience at Lead Engineer or Technical Lead level.
- Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale workflow applications.
- Strong solution design, architecture, and data modelling experience.
- Experience leading complex workflow and business process solutions.
- Strong integration experience across legacy and cloud-based platforms.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments and using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
- Financial services or banking experience is desirable.
- Appian Senior Developer or Appian Lead Developer Certification is desirable.
- Experience in large, complex enterprise organisations and mentoring engineering teams is desirable.
