AI/ML Ops Engineer

Responsibilities
- Own the AI/ML lifecycle at scale from model training and deployment through monitoring and retirement.
- Develop, optimize, train, and deploy machine learning models as live, real-time services.
- Design, build, and administer model-building and model-serving infrastructure.
- Implement containerized infrastructure-as-code and automate training, feature engineering, inference, monitoring, and deployment pipelines.
- Own testing strategy across model validation, integration, load, and deployment testing.
- Build highly available production systems with comprehensive visibility, alerting, governance, and lifecycle controls.
- Contribute to AI architecture and design decisions and collaborate with Engineering, the Security Operations Center, and the Adversary Pursuit Group.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on ML Engineering experience, including personally training and deploying models in production.
- Experience with cloud-based ML infrastructure using AWS and model operations using SageMaker and Bedrock.
- Experience with inference streams and event-driven processing using Kafka and Spark.
- Experience with MLOps workflows, including MLflow and SageMaker Pipelines.
- Experience with infrastructure as code and pipeline automation using Terraform and GitHub Actions.
- Experience with ML governance, including data, model, and feature versioning, monitoring, and testing.
- Experience with containerized services using Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, and EKS.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, SQL, and Spark SQL.
- Experience with CI/CD workflows, DevOps practices, and AI-assisted development lifecycles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, performance, security, and reliability skills.
- Preferred experience with Transformer Neural Networks, Anthropic, OpenAI, LiteLLM APIs and SDKs, Grafana, CloudWatch, cybersecurity, IoT, or NLP.
