Responsibilities
- Create test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on complex requirements and business user stories.
- Develop, maintain, and customize automated test suites and frameworks.
- Perform database, ETL, data warehouse, API, application, regression, component, and end-to-end testing.
- Write complex database queries to validate business rules and data transformations.
- Track issues from component or end-to-end testing through closure.
- Work with Unix/Linux/OCP environments and use relevant commands.
- Collaborate with team members, leads, and stakeholders from project initiation through closure.
- Provide information related to the technical design and development of applications using existing and emerging technology platforms.
- Build organizational, business, and information-systems knowledge while expanding technical skills.
Requirements
- Strong experience with modern database querying and complex queries for validating business rules and transformations.
- Strong database, ETL, and data warehouse testing experience, including exposure to RDBMS, large data warehouses, and data lakes.
- Experience with Unix/Linux/OCP environments and proficient knowledge of relevant commands.
- Good exposure to API testing and test automation using industry frameworks.
- Ability to create or customize test automation frameworks, with experience using Robot Framework, BDD, and POM approaches.
- Experience working with GenAI and agentic AI solutions using an automation-first approach.
- QA lead experience leading small teams or pods is a value-added qualification.
- Experience with tools such as Postman, Selenium, JMeter, UFT, Lean UFT, Rest Assured, and TestNG is desirable.
- Experience with Python, Java, or other development languages is desirable, with Python preferred.
- Exposure to Snowflake, MongoDB, and Hadoop testing is desirable.
- Knowledge of Agile, DevOps environments, test integration, CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, Docker, and UCD is desirable.
