Base Salary

$88k - $163k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, document, test, debug, integrate, and maintain software systems implementing logical and mathematical solutions for Global C2 missions.
  • Participate on SAFe Scrum teams supporting multiple software baselines for the IBCS program.
  • Develop software and upgrades in multiple programming languages while minimizing changes to tactical software behavior.
  • Develop and maintain user interfaces using JavaFX and related technologies.
  • Support unit and functional testing, code coverage analysis, static code analysis, and test automation.
  • Create and update documentation using Markdown and collaboration tools.
  • Collaborate with systems and hardware engineers to deliver secure, scalable mission-critical software.

Requirements

  • Software Engineer candidates require a STEM bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a STEM master's degree with 0 years of experience.
  • Principal Software Engineer candidates require a STEM bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, a STEM master's degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience, or a STEM PhD with 0 years of experience.
  • Strong object-oriented software development experience with Java and C++.
  • Experience developing user interfaces with JavaFX.
  • Experience with Bash, including SSH and SCP, Perl, and Python.
  • Proficiency in Linux-based development and runtime environments.
  • Experience with Git and GitLab for configuration management and source control.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Active Secret Clearance.
  • Preferred qualifications include MBSE experience with Cameo or similar tools, Jenkins or similar CI/CD pipelines, RTI/DDS, OSGi, XML, Eclipse or VS Code, tactical data links, and radar track management.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification is preferred.
