Responsibilities
- Contribute to the technology roadmap for digital systems technologies and platforms.
- Specify, design, and lead development of 3D software algorithms and solutions.
- Develop 3D triangle mesh processing algorithms.
- Participate in a high-performing software development team in an agile environment.
- Influence cross-functional teams and integrate emerging technologies across Solventum.
- Research and test approaches to develop innovative algorithm solutions.
- Comply with corporate policies, procedures, and security standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- At least three years of software development experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
- At least two years of professional software development experience with C++ and WebAssembly.
- At least two years of experience developing 3D triangle mesh processing algorithms.
- Solid foundation in 3D mathematics and 3D geometry.
- Experience with 3D triangle mesh topology representations and 3D curves or surfaces.
- Experience visualizing, analyzing, and debugging complex multidimensional data.
- Ability to write clean, modular, readable, and testable code and value code reviews and comprehensive unit testing.
- Cross-platform development experience with Windows and Linux using modern C++ features.
- Experience with CMake and distributed version control systems such as Git.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, collaboration, systems-thinking, and independent-work skills.
