Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the JadeGit and GitHub Actions workflow for validating, merging, and deploying JADE schema and class changes with quality gates.
- Build and maintain Azure infrastructure as code using Terraform and Spacelift, including AKS clusters and Kaleris-hosted MTN environments.
- Advise customers and managed-service teams on on-premises JADE installations, IIS, WebPortal, certificate configuration, releases, patches, and environment migrations.
- Design, test, and execute backup, restore, and disaster-recovery procedures for hosted JADE environments and advise on on-premises readiness.
- Implement and maintain security, compliance, vulnerability-management, observability, logging, and alerting tooling.
- Collaborate with application, product, QA, and Professional Services teams on releases, production troubleshooting, runbooks, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering experience, ideally supporting legacy or on-premises enterprise applications alongside modern cloud infrastructure.
- Hands-on Windows Server administration, including IIS, Windows services, and certificate management.
- Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps Pipelines, plus custom automation using TypeScript, JavaScript, PowerShell, or Python.
- Infrastructure as code experience with Terraform and familiarity with Spacelift and Argo CD.
- Experience with Kubernetes, AKS, Docker, and Azure storage, networking, and identity services including Azure Entra and OAuth2.
- Demonstrated production backup, restore, and disaster-recovery experience.
- Strong troubleshooting skills spanning VPN and network connectivity, application-server and IIS logs, and database or schema-level issues.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Claude.
- Familiarity with JADE or willingness to learn its proprietary object-database and schema/class-based deployment model.
- Familiarity with BlackDuck, Wiz, Burp Suite, Sumo Logic, PagerDuty, OTEL-compatible tooling, OpenVPN CloudConnexa, Jellyfish, DORA, Jira, and Agile planning.
- Fluent English communication, comfort working with teams in India, New Zealand, and Australia, and willingness to work occasional off-hours.
