Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, deploy, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure for embedded Wi-Fi software products.
- Define and implement the technical vision for embedded software build and release processes.
- Automate workflows, streamline redundant tasks, and improve developer productivity and software delivery speed.
- Establish metrics, software development standards, analytics, and telemetry to improve delivery quality.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and SRE teams to optimize cloud infrastructure and reduce operating costs.
- Use monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure system health and performance.
- Document software processes and guidelines.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in both software development and DevOps practices.
- Required experience in embedded software development.
- Proficiency with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in at least two high-level and low-level programming languages, such as Java, C, Rust, Python, JavaScript, or Groovy.
- Strong system administration and scripting skills with Linux, Windows, Shell scripting, and PowerShell.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Nomad, or similar containerization and orchestration technologies.
- Understanding of source control systems such as Git and experience establishing workflows for private and public repositories with GitHub.
- Experience with monitoring and alerting technologies such as Splunk, Nagios, or Grafana.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as pytest or Robot and quality tools such as SonarQube.
- Preferred experience with C software development tools including Make, CMake, and Ninja.
- Preferred track record of improving developer productivity through automation and process improvements.
- Preferred experience using GenAI tools.
