Responsibilities
- Develop and productize camera firmware and unified ISP hardware drivers for Qualcomm mobile, XR, automotive, and IoT chipsets.
- Prototype end-to-end camera use cases using a firmware test bench for early firmware and hardware verification.
- Develop, port, optimize, and debug camera, video, and computer-vision hardware pipelines and multimedia features.
- Collaborate with systems, software, and hardware teams across chipset design, validation, and commercialization.
- Influence future camera hardware architecture with power and performance considerations.
- Work with global OEM customer engineering teams to commercialize and stabilize Qualcomm camera solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience in image processing, computer vision, or video domains and a solid understanding of image-processing or computer-vision fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with camera, video, or computer-vision hardware pipelines, including development, porting, and optimization.
- Strong C/C++ programming skills with knowledge of multithreading and RTOS/OS concepts.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Device-driver development experience for hardware is a plus.
- Experience with Tensilica or ARM processors is a plus.
