Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans, strategies, scenarios, and automated test scripts.
- Create test data and execute component, system, SIT, end-to-end, regression, sanity, and health-check testing.
- Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot automation and test script issues in collaboration with developers.
- Monitor and maintain regression test suites and support defect resolution and quality improvements.
- Create and publish Xray and defect dashboards, monitor trendlines, and prepare daily status reports.
- Document testing artifacts, evidence, results, risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, and test closure reports.
- Participate in code reviews, demonstrations, stakeholder meetings, and test scenario and evidence sign-off.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, designers, engineers, and testing teams to define requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Apply secure coding practices and contribute to technology communities and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- More than 5 years of experience in automation testing.
- Experience developing software solutions with Java, Selenium or Playwright, REST Assured, and REST API testing.
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Jenkins.
- Experience with test script and test data creation, component testing, and end-to-end testing.
- Ability to create test strategies and scenarios for system/component, SIT, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with defect management, stakeholder communication, test reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to analyze requirements, perform root cause analysis, resolve testing issues, and participate in code reviews.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices, risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital and technology skills.
- Karate automation tool experience and experience with AI testing tools are highly valued.
